All good as far as an attempt. Some things to know:
1) The KZB line doesn't really get broken up and has a ridiculous amount of chemistry.
2) The Rangers foundation for their cup window is pretty much set, so they don't need to add any major pieces. At this point, the only idea is to set up their cap allocation, and that they trade players that have been jumped in the depth chart or who are blocking player development at their peak value or before their value decreases.
That means:
a) Strome
b) Trouba
c) Hajek
d) Howden
Use those pieces to backfill areas of need (3rd LW, bottom 4 LHD, middle 6 C)... and that's an ideal offseason.
Also means not acquiring any RW, or bringing back Fast.
And if Smith or Staal is in your lineup you lost.
