hertl would be such a good fit for NYR

1) Ridiculous undersell on Strome

2) Also not really sensible for the Rangers to deal for a player with just 2 years of team control.

I got to agree with this. Also why would the Avs want Strome not exactly a cheap RFA and no way the Sharks deal Hertl for what amounts to not a lot.

Don't know too much about either of those players, if a NYR fan would help me out that would be great!

Few responses: -If its an undersell on Strome what do you think I could get for him? I was just opening up cap space an a roster spot so I figured a mid tier prospect did that. And the Avs went for Namestnikov at the deadline to get center depth and will lose him after the season so they will need that depth for 20-21.
-Getting Hertl for 2 years would fit the timeline of the rangers right now and they can resign him when Staal and Smith contracts are off the books.
-I could throw in a better defense prospect (Robertson/Jones) but I am just looking at other similar trades in the past and Andersson is not a bust yet hes 20 years old. Sharks are going to need to open up cap space they have some bad contracts and need to start rebuilding ASAP.
