He made some comments on Instagram or Twitter saying he wasn't being given a chance to play so the NHL demanded he get a 3rd part doctor to examine him at which time he was found to not be healthy enough to play. Its really funny how so many people see the Islanders as this plucky young team of underdogs and TO as this under-performing veteran team when the Islanders are legit one of the older teams in the NHL and have many long term high money contracts for guys in their 30's while TO is the 3rd youngest team in the NHL with zero bad contracts.
