no it's not. Frederic is 22, He should be making the jump by now. He's got 2 years in the AHL now, There isn't much excuse there.
Foote is 19 and there is still hope for him to make that jump and be an impact player. While I'm not saying it's written in stone he will fair any better, there is much greater hope he will be playing in the NHL at 22.
Kuhlman is a body.
Moore is a decent add on though

I think this is close for both sides. Would make a couple changes....

1. Dial the money back a bit since he is under contract for next year.
2. Add 2022 conditional pick if Palmieri resigns or BOS wins conference.
3. Replace John Moore with Lauzon or JFK or anyone else

There's also no room for frederic to play in the nhl regularly. BOS is deep at C, hence the very few call-ups frederic has had which were due to injuries down the middle.

Couple things here. First, Kuhlman isn’t just a body. He’s looked real good in his time in the NHL. There’s a reason he was a top six forward for the bruins in the Stanley cup final.

The primary reason Frederic is in the AHL, is taht he’s a pure center, and the bruins have Bergeron, Krejci, and Coyle. I’m not saying he’s a stud, or that his ceiling is super high, but he’s an NHL caliber player that’s severely blocked by NHL talent.

if any of this were true you wouldn't be looking for forward help.
You'd throw you best 12 guys out there.
But you are.
And that's where this conversation ends.

any center in this league can play wing.
Period.
So when your excuse is, he's not made it to the NHL because they have center depth, you know you are just reaching for straws.
what percentage of Boston's offense is coming from the top line this season?
I mean really. most people can be honest about Boston being mainly a 1 line team. If these guys had any of the "talent" you'd like to claim they have, then they would have made it on this team by now. It's not like the hurdle to get there is overwhelming.

and this is why you don't understand people's points.
And yes, it's very easy for a center to move to wing. Matter of fact, it's usually what happens as players move up from midget to the NHL. Most of those wingers in the NHL started at center at some point, but as the competition got harder, they moved to wing. So yeah, facts matter.

Tons of centers can’t be effective wingers. Tons of centers are far worse at wing than they are at center. In fact, there are a bunch of guys on Boston’s NHL roster like that!

oh really you start naming the centers who can't play wing. I'll wait because I know that's nonsense and so does everyone else.
If a center can't play wing it is pretty much tied to them not really being able to play center either.
As long as the player is on his natural side he'll fit right in on the wing. It's not some big jump. It's actually an easier position to play which is why people move to wing....not move to center as leagues get harder.

I don't even know why you are trying to argue that nonsense. There is a mountain of evidence to prove you are wrong.

I’ll just go with two guys on the bruins. Krejci flat out can’t play wing. He lacks the explosiveness for the position. Coyle is much better at center. Hence why the search for a 2nd line right wing continues.

this isn't even worth arguing. Coyle can play wing, hell boston has played him there as have other teams.
And Krejci has never really been put at wing. This imaginary he doesn't have the speed to play. Holly balls. You realize the fastest players in the game are centers right?

Just stop your nonsense.

Krejci has been put at wing. It didn’t go well though. You’re right though. It is not worth arguing with you after you said something like, “centers can play wing. Period.” Yikes.
