Not awful. Braun got a 2nd and 3rd at the start of the year. Dillon has only a few games to go. He's better, but the lost time makes up the difference.

I like this move. Got the defenseman we needed (aside from being left), and didn't give up any prospects or current roster value. I suspect another deal is in the works to cap dump someone (perhaps Kempny is the candidate since they got a LHD here).

Yeah, Dillon for a second and conditional third is insanely good value compared to the Greene and Scandella trades.

Washington needs to get JGP. Imo he makes this team very good and competitive with the penguins
