No thanks from Calgary, Dermott would be our 5th best LD next year and we need RD just as much as Toronto right now. Bracco means nothing to us, we already have Phillips.

No chance that the Leafs would trade Dermott who is a great young defenceman for Brodie who is a UFA at end of season and on his way out.

He and his team sure is not showing that he is 10 times better than Dermott tonight against the Hawks. Not sure you are aware that Brodie is from Ontario and was probably a Leaf fan as a kid so I do not think he does not want to play for the Leafs. Doubt the Leafs and Flames would have put a trade together for him this past summer if he did not want to play in Toronto and trade was only cancelled because only Kadri used his no trade clause.

This would be a solid trade for the flames if Brodie isn’t re signing. Dermott is perfectly fine in the right. Brodie is not 10 times better than Dermott.

The Leafs will not miss the playoffs. You need to realize how much talent is on this Leafs team and understand that have had to deal with alot of injuries but the team is now in full powerhouse mode again.

Did you watch the hockey game

Unfortunately I did watch the game which was a very disappointing game to watch. However, you have to realize that it was the second game of a back to back road game with travelling between games and flu bug working its way through team so I would not read too much in to tonight's game.
