if the blues trade for a rental i wouldn't think they would want to trade a player off the team that contributing and getting solid mins. when the jets traded lemieux for hayes he was playing on the 4th line. having that said i dont think youre far off. kreider is going to bring a good return.

I've said it a hundred times, I would be incredibly surprised if the Blues add a forward at the deadline. If I had to guess anything, they'll add a journeyman defenseman similar to last year - looking at you Del Zotto.
