Description
It’s only 4 game but he doesn’t look at all like the players whonwas playing with the kings the last 2 season. He still have a amazing vision and that release who can beat any goalie. Think he might have a few miles left in the tank after all

so ?

Claude and Marc both addressed this
''we got plenty of Defensive minded players , what we dont got are a lot of is Goal Scorers who are comfortable shooting a lot ''

MTL shoots a lot , we often lead the league but thats because everyones just throwing anything at the net with quality really only coming consistently in that department from Gallagher , Weber , Armia and Tatar . Kovalchuk his first 2 games was involved in a key role in 4/5 goals scored and averaged 20 minutes ice time because his rebounds create chances for opportunistic Lehkonen who's been sensational since Kovy arrived with 4 points in 4 games to match Kovalchuk's .

Lehkonen's D is good enough for both of them but his offense needed something and Kovy's been that something so far

4 points in 4 games man , lets not find a reason to be a Debbie Downer and just give Credit where its Due .

dont give him ammo as Pastarnak is actually an amazing 2 way forward with possesion metrics that are on par with our best Defensive Forward Danault .

he'll admit when he errors but that's if you dont distract him :P

I've said it before and I'll say it again : I hope he gets 12 goals for you guys. He was abused here in Los Angeles.

Pastrnak isnt a good two way forward. Is ratio of take away giveaway is terrible he is always spying over defenseman to get break. The guy have amazing offensive skill the undeniable but he isn’t a selke candidate. Marchand and bergeron handle that duty.

I can’t figure why it didn’t work with LA. I seem faster with Montreal. Sometime thing just don’t work somewhere.

You know it’s a rough year when you can rile the natives over a 36 year old 3rd liner who is a shell of his former self. ?

Interim "coach" Willie DesJardins refused to play him, despite the fact that he was on schedule to score the 20 goals Rob Blake said was the reason for signing him. Rob Blake then failed to instruct DesJardins to play him or resign. Then the new coach (McLellan) also refused to play him. I mean, after all, he's so defensively poor that if the Kings had put him on the ice consistently, they would have sunk to the bottom of the Pacific Division [sarcasm].

you know its rough when instead of admitting you were being an ass you got to pretend everyone else has a problem .

its not like he's a Backes
our old guy still has skill and costs nothing

P.s 42 year old 3rd line Reechi was a solid performer in BOS only SC in my lifetime so maybe you're undervaluing a Veteran role player on PP ?
