At this point in both of their careers, I wouldn't take Backstrom over Danault.

Same with Ovechkin, I definitely wouldn't pay 2 first round picks for him. He's an amazing goal scorer, but he's 34.

What puzzles me most about this ACGM is how Backstrom (a pending UFA) is worth more than Ovi (who still has term).

Probably to a full on contending team, but I don't think those 2 first round picks is worth it to a team that wouldn't be a stanley cup contender with him.

To be fair I wasn't taking it seriously, just pointing out something I found looked funny. Its hard to convey tone in writing sometimes.
