Jets aren’t taking Ceci lol. Especially with the possibility of buff returning becoming more of a reality everyday.

Mikheyev is likely done for the rest of the season. During this morning's Leafs update it was revealed that he is out three months and then will be evaluated.
Might as well let him recover and train in the summer and start fresh in training camp.

Seems like a bad idea to throw a into the middle of a playoff run/battle when he hasn't been in it for three months.

So really the trade is Kapanen for Savard and Anderson! The other 2 players are junk and will not be part of any regular NHL lineup, So Blue Jackets will pass!

Timashov is already in the lineup and has played very well. As for Bracco, your crystal ball is much clearer than mine. Figured a team with only 101 goals so far might want to add some offence.

Bracco is on the same path as Benson on the oilers, lots of points, pass first player and that usually does not translate well into the NHL, I could be wrong with both as Benson has the fans in Edmonton really excited. Do you really think Timashov will turn out to be an every day NHL player? Or a tweener.

He will be a bottom 6 guy. A skilled one, but middle 6 would be his ceiling. Great shot good vision and good speed and tenacity.

Bracco on the other hand could go top 6. His only knocks are size and defence. Leafs have plenty of firepower and they aren’t going to risk anything defensively. His edgework and vision is off the charts. He does score some spectacular goals but he is very elusive and uses that to draw people after him to hit open players.

In trade value I think Bracco is probably worth a 3rd. Low risk high reward. Timashov is probably worth a 5th.

The trade value wise is fair but I don’t know if it checks a lot of boxes for CBJ.

Columbus declines we have no need for more middle 6 RWs. We have no use for Kapanen unless he can play LW, then Toronto should just keep him.

Value is fine... we just have no real interest in this trade.
