Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

If the Blues make a move, I think this is the player the Blues target. Wont cost as much as Kreider, can solidify the 2nd line with ROR and DP57 and has a ton of playoff experience.

I know people dont like the rental route but this gives us more scoring depth.

When healthy I dont see a spot in the lineup for Sanford and we have Jay-Bo, Dunn, Gunny, Mikkola and hopefully Perunovich at LD so I could see moving Walman.

Kings get a 2nd, 3LW who has shown glimpses of being a 2LW and an offensive LD prospect that is having a good year in the A.

*These are the playoff lines hence being over the cap.

I would accept this trade for the Kings. I would make it as soon as possible, which would benefit both teams while Tarasenko is on the LTIR.

Yeah I definitely think Toffoli is the play. He’ll be relatively cheap and seems like a guy who could rattle off ten goals in a playoff run. Plus, if he sucks he’ll be off the books next year when Kyrou/Kostin become regulars

The value is fine, but I think the Kings would target a different prospect. Walman would give them a 4th defenseman that they would need to protect in the expansion draft, and I think they're trying to arrange their pipeline to force Seattle to select a goaltender. Change the prospect to Toropchenko and I think the Kings would go for it.

With the possibility of losing 27 I'd like to see them keep Reinke. I would move any prospect except Kyrou, Kostin, Alexandrov, Laferriere, Reinke, Perunovich, Mikkola, T Tucker and Hofer.

retention will cost more--i don't actually agree that the value is perfect. this trade is slanted in STL's favor, although slightly. LAK has the space and isn't doing anything with it, but that space has value to the blues and LAK will try and leverage that into a nicer prospect than walman or another late pick. obviously not a high value prospect, but a toropchenko would level things out a bit.

i think this trade value is fine if the retention is closer to 1m.

I agree that most of those guys would be overpayments for rental Toffoli if they came along with a 2nd round pick. Alexandrov was the other guy that I was going to suggest, but I think the Kings would be fine with either Toropchenko or Alexandrov since they're both expansion draft exempt.

One of the more reasonable Toffoli trade proposals I've seen. Good work.
