I don't see MTL trading their first-round pick in this year's draft for Beaudin. Not to say that he isn't worth it, because he is, but draft hosts don't often go without a first-round pick.

And somehow Beaudin is ready for 1st line duty? If he was wouldn't he be playing for the Bhawks? If either of the 2 is closer to an nhl spot it's Romanov. So why don't they just draft one with that pick. Poirier will be available who looks really good, similar to Chabot.
The hawks have no motivation for this move too, they don't have a lot of D prospects so why trade one for just a 1st? The trade just doesn't make a lot of sense for either team
