A point of contention before I applaud your creativity on this deal. As long as Marc Bergevin remains GM, I don't think Shea Weber is getting dealt. That said, when I read the "I Don't Care" title of your AGM, I was curious as to what a Habs fan (I am assuming you are a Habs fan) could possibly come up with such an attitude towards whatever deal it was. It's actually a pretty creative, or at least, unique idea. At first, I was ready to just shoot you a reply saying there is no way the Sharks would refuse this deal, but then you look at the numbers and such and the ages of the players involved and it's gets a little bit more interesting. Still, all things considered, I think at least short-term, the Sharks win this deal. Do the numbers for cap stuff even work? I didn't bother trying to figure it out. Well done on the creativity though.

Will Karlsson go back to a Canadian team? I thought it was one of the reasons he wanted out of Ottawa but I could be wrong.

Thank you man! The title was just meant to show that i'm aware that it may be fair but it is almost impossible

It's a question mark for sure but who knows, maybe he'll get tired of losing in SJ if they dont get better

I appreciate your candor with that, and knew going in and looking at whatever it was you proposed, it would either be out in left field somehow, or something that might be super realistic but impossible solely based on the salary cap. Anyway, I always appreciate creativity on here. Far too often, these AGMs get too repetitive with deals so good on you for trying out something different.

Don't see Sharks being willing to take two very risky contracts in exchange to just one. But that's just my opinion. It would be weird as heck to see them dealing EK after signing that contract.

1. I didn't know he wanted out of OTT
2. He was considering signing with OTT or MTL last free agency
2.1. so life is confusing

E. Karlsson's logic
wants out of ottawa
wants to sign with ottawa via free agency

I don't think Karlsson wanted to leave Ottawa... It was more like that Karlsson didn't belong to the plans for future for the Senators organisation, and thus they moved him..

More like the stillbirth of his son and Eugene Melnyk. I mean...he publicly said that he has talked to the management since they asked for his no-trade list. This could mean the Sens management didn't send him their condolence in person following the passing of his son.

Both Karlsson and Price have NMC so they aren't going anywhere. If Karlsson wanted to go to Montreal, then he would've done so on July 1st. If Price Wanted to leave Montreal, he wouldn't have signed to that 8-year contract
