point and stamkos are better until proven not... in terms of potential I'd take eichel but point was unbelievable (and much better than jack) last year and stammer, well thats debatable I guess but tie goes to the dude who has done it season after season, but u could argue that I guess. wheeler you could argue as well I guess but he has had back to back 91pt seasons and is one of the league 's best and most underrated playmakers. and the rest you'd be completely off your rockers to say that eichel is better RIGHT NOW

Right now him over Matthews I would do, and Kane but Kane is still really good, team has just been bad. I would take him over Stamer as he pushes the play more IMO, I have watched a lot of players and not many have the special skating and passing and shooting skills Eichel has, he has the potential to be a top 3 center in league, I think he will end up better than MacKinnon, Matthews, and anyone else not named Barkov or McDavid. But that's is my slightly biased opinion

mackinnon and Matthews are miles better... Matthews has the most even strength goals in the league since entering, scored at a 1.074ppg clip while eichel scored at a 1.65ppg. but the key difference Is goal scoring... eichel is in his 5th year and has never cracked 30 goals, while Matthews has done it in fewer than 60 games consistently for two years now. sure eichel is off to a hot start, but if history tells us anything its that its only a matter of time before buffalo collapses again- and regardless of that, this season is a tiny sample size. as for mackinnon, its pretty self explanatory, just look at the most basic stats. Kane is better. stamkos is debatable

Eichel isn't a goal scorer, he passes first, but he hasn't had good players.to pass 2.
actually he played more time with reinhart AND skinner than anyone else... 40g/60pt winger and another 60pt winger are certainly great options to pass to. so he literally played with better line mates than Matthews and couldn't keep up with his production. he's not better https://s3.amazonaws.com/bncore/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/reinhart.png
Except for the numbers that are screwed with so it looks one way, look at the top it is only figuring in minutes of Reinhart and Poms, has nothing to do with Eichels ice time stats ... But hey believe what you want.

seems like a weekly thing now where I have to show you why eichel isn't better than everyone that has proven themselves year in and year out. its getting kind of ridiculous but hey just enjoy the sabres and eichel's hot start now before the yearly crumble from the top to the bottom 5 I guess
