Your last three trades are pointless and accomplish nothing of significance for the Ducks, but the first trade is an atrocious mis-evaluation. Did you miss the fact that Tanev is a UFA this summer? Did you forget that Baertschi cleared waivers last month?

I could live with Sherwood for 70 games of Tanev, although it isn't a move I would make. But the net result of your trades is to turn a right side of Kase, Silfverberg, Terry and Rowney into Silfverberg, Terry, Baertschi (on his wrong side, where I don't ever recall seeing him) and Puljujarvi (who has yet to prove himself actual NHL talent). In short, the sum total of these moves is a weaker team even with some help at RD, where Anaheim needs it most.

Totally with about Kase but not so much about Sherwood. He's a good depth player but not particularly special. We shouldn't just give him away or anything but I can't see why another team would want to invest, say a 3rd rounder, to acquire him. If he doesn't earn a spot on this team by the start of next year he'll be a guy anyone can have for free. I think a 4th rounder would be solid compensation for him if we decide to move him.
