Anaheim desperately needs a solid second pair on defense. This one comes already packaged. After a year's experience this season, this defense and this forward group is ready to contend for the Cup.

Is it such wishful thinking? I think the trade value is reasonably fair, particularly with Lindholm's contract, and Pelech-Pulock is a big improvement over Fowler-stooge or Fowler-some young guy playing his off side.

I get upgrading the RD and hoping not to miss much on LD but Fowler and Manson don’t work. And I like the way Guhle-Fowler have started the season. I think they need another goal scorer to go with Rakell and Kase.

I want you to think very hard about Fowler's game-winning goal the other night. He doesn't score that goal playing on the right. That's what scares me.

It’s not the goal tho. He’s also struggled with the board play in the offensive zone but the more reps he gets the better he’ll get. I know it’s only 2 games but that pairs metrics have been great. They’ve created a ton of offense. Let’s see how the season played out with him on the right. Also who was he with for the goal? Was Guhle out there and the just activated in the Ozone and he wound up on the left side? They need that.
