With Jones and Broberg on the way, this doesn’t really make sense, especially when you already have Klefbom and Nurse in the top 4

Having too many quality D is not a bad thing... Broberg is very young, so don't count on him for a few years. This is a smart trade for EDM, considering JP is no where to be found right now. This could work well for Carolina because their Dcore is already stacked and they get another big, young, skilled, unproven forward to add to their depth.

We Got Hayden's brother who was a late find for us and he's in his 2nd year Pro and just pushed out Folin , Juulsen and Brook for a Starting spot .

Where's his brother 4th year Pro?
playing RD this year just to earn a roster spot as CAR valued signing Gardiner over his development .

Cale is Size,Speed ,Skill and a Grit Edge with a wickid slapper from the point with solid accuracy .

Hayden is Size and a very untammed slap slot
he's bad with the puck and create's a lot of turnover but worst of all he's still not committed to the only role he can play to get a NHL job in a Shot blocker/Hitter .

we seen all this in Beaulieu before we let him go after his Party with Galchenyuk,Smith-Pelly,Thomas and Tinordi .
Hayden Fleury will be in the KHL this time next year as i doubt CAR qualify's an offer for him at the end of the year . (VAN did this with Ben Hutton who's had far more NHL success then Fleury)
