Description
Right now we have a problem..... When byron and poehling come back from injury.... what do we do... I Think Thompson and Cousins are the next one to go but if Suzuki strugles in the first couple of games I could see him being sent down to Laval (I doubt it tho).
When everyone is healthy I see the third line and fourth line like this:
drouin- Weal- Byron
Lehkonen- Poehling- Armia

I don't mind having poehling on this fourth line because I think that Julien could give them a lot of minutes playing against important players and that could be good.

All I can say is that this team is very deep....

I dont think that's close to enough incentive to dump Alzner.

If you want to dump Alzner you need to give a team a reason to take him Lindgren and a 4th doesn't get it anywhere close to done

I thought since Anaheim has the cap space and he could actually play over there might be enough. What if I switched the 4th for a third?

Lindgren is just a throw in... I know he does not have any value be can't stay in Laval. What if I switched the 4th for a third or a second?

If Marleau took a first thats what dumping Alner starts with, no less

I think dumping Alzner would take a 1st plus, just because the ducks have space doesn't mean they need to take a cap dump

Yeah but Marleau was a buyout and a 6M$ cap hit. Alzner is at 4.5 and he could actually play.

4.5 for 3 years, and Marleau still could have played, just didnt fit in CAR

yeah good point
I guess it would have to start with a first but I doubt they trade if they are loosing a first since we have no guarantee we will be in a playoff spot. Alzner said if he didn't play in Mtl he was not going back to the AHL.... so I guess it would be a buyout.

Yeah, especially for the Ducks to take him, sure we have cap room but we are already crowded on the left side with players better than alzner so he wouldnt make the roster here either
Lindholm
Guhle
Larsson
Del Zotto
Mahura

All are players I would take over Alzner, and Fowler somewhat counts although he should be playing RD this year

If poehling is any good, he should be able to wrestle the 3C role from Jordan Weal. Weal is a 4th liner imo

Made some changes to a situation where we use our cap space as an advantage. Whay do you think?

In a perfect world I'd like to see Weal on the wing of Poehling because Weal showed some rellay good things in pre-season.
