I would take the chance that Adam Fox is going to play his 30 games for the Rangers and that third-round pick will become a second; so I would give the Oilers Jordan Martinook and the Carolina 2020 second in exchange for Puljujarvi. And I would expect to get criticism from half the Hurricane fan base until JP recaptured his mesh with Laine and Aho.

Laine scores 50 goals and Aho racks up 90 points and a year from now, you won't miss either one; two years from now, you won't remember which Svechnikov you had.

I would not give up Dougie on top of Svech, Laine is way to inconsistent, I would not be surprised at all if Svech turns out to be the better player in two ish years, and necas for Pulju is an insane overpayment, I'd give up like a third round pick lol

I agree about the trade. I dont think Fox is going to play more than 9 games next year, tough. I saw him at the world championships a couple of times on TV, and he was not anything special yet. Not saying he won´t be in the future...
