Flames laugh at you. Lindholm is a 80 point scorer and Hanifin is developing into a stud. That alone gets you more than Hall’s value (very very slightly). Add a 2nd and you’ve got Vatanen. This trade offer is blasphemous. Not only because value is off, but because they would rather get one large piece in return when giving up a large piece. Maybe Gaudreau for Hall or something along those lines.

Hard to say what whoever the Wilds next GM would do, but it’s unlikely they deal Fiala and a pick for a player they don’t immediately have a need for. I could see them trading Fiala for Butcher straight up, which would then allow them to trade Brodin if they wanted to but they’re not going to add in a pick to offset any value gap there might be. Butcher just doesn’t address an immediate need.
