Okay, so everyone has been saying “jokiharju wasn’t traded for some bum or a bottom six guy, or even an ahl guy.” Guys, I get that, joki wasn’t traded for that. However, that’s on nylander! He looked like trash in the prospect scrimmage, and he can only get so many chances to impress. Honestly, I don’t think he has a place in this team. It is okay to admit Stan messed up that trade. Wouldn’t be the first.

Kubalik is a lock for sure. Debrincat - Strome - Kane is a nightmare for the Hawks defense...not happening. The 2nd line will have Saad or Shaw is my guess and Kane back on the 1st line.

Dude hasn’t played at all. Can’t say he messed up this quickly. Call me a wishful thinker . I put nylander in as best case scenario. Bowman is has made historically great trades that have been panned by fans but turn out( obviously excluding danault, but that trade was for role players for a cup run and danault wasn’t performing well) Kane brings out the best in players, hopefully can with nylander.

This is the thing that bothers me about this thinking. I’ll even lump strome in this argument. Nylander “needs” Kane. Strome “needs” debrincat. You take those away from nylander and strome, odds are, they suck. This why I hope strome doesn’t get a bloated contract, cuz he hasn’t proven himself outside of debrincat. As for nylander, I got news for ya, but I do not tolerate lazy freakin players. Nylander is a great player with great skill, but he doesn’t wanna work! So all these people saying give them a chance because we haven’t seen them in a game yet, that’s my response. I have no choice but to them chances, but don’t expect me to give them passes when they’ve messed up their previous chances. Same goes for Dach. Dude was absurdly lazy and had very little drive a lot of the time. Then people see him in prospect camp pushing guys half his size around thinking he’s amazing. Screw that. I gotta give dach and nylander a chance cuz I don’t have a choice. But they better not be lazy, cuz hustle beats talent when talent doesn’t hustle. But hey, I guess an interview was enough for Stan to be sold on Dach. So i guess effort doesn’t mean anything. Honestly, what the hell do I know.

Also, what trades specifically are you talking about? Cuz he also traded panarin, leddy, hjalmarsson, kahun, and now jokiharju, amongst others. I’m just curious, cuz bowman is all well and good when the team was on top, but he has been cracking trying rebuild..........wait sorry sorry, I meant reTOOL, a team.
