I don't get it. Are you trying to make the Leafs worse, or is this purely a cap thing? Either way, Ceci is a better defenseman than Kevin Shattenkirk, and before you come at me with some silly rebuttal, just look at the numbers, they speak for themselves. So do the Leafs downgrade a position, which they have been weak at for years, or stay the course? I would clearly go for the latter, since this, in no way, is any sort of upgrade.

The deal with Edmonton not realistic. The 4th round pick should be going to Edmonton, not Toronto. Ceci is a pure cap dump, and the other 2 are fringe NHL players.

i wouldnt take ceci unless you stapled a 2nd and 3rd round pick to him, nevermind adding in the other 2 ahl players and giving up 3 picks

???? Ceci junk? I know stats aren't everything. But his offence is better than Larsson's, his plus minus the same Gee Ceci would be the 1A or 1B RHD for the Oilers.

Leafs had the much maligned Hainsey last year who allowed Reilly to wheel. Don't know who fills Hainsey spot, Barrie, Ceci even Dermot when he returns from injury. Actually I'm optimistic about Ceci for in his UFA year after playing two seasons on a real bad Sens team. Yea the Leafs would prefer Larsson over Ceci, but Shattenkirk is an awful Dman though I good PP specialist and Schmaltz as proved to an AHLer only, so Ceci it is.

Shattenkirk is done, he sucks and should go to the KHL..... He isnt even good on the PP anymore!
