Demott is arguably better than Deangelo right now (and younger) + Hyman is better than Buch right now + $3,000,000 in cap savings + 3 prospects (a late 1st + 3rd + 3rd).

Otherwise ... New York will either lose players for a minimal return ... or dump bad contracts (and pay the price with sweeteners).

Um. Buchnevich and Deangelo way better than the package you are giving up. Also. All of these trades are bad. Neuvirth I can live with, Brassard and Hutton need more, don’t sign Lovejoy you are just holding out on youth. Marner will easily get 10.5 million.
