Honestly considering how good Spurgeon is I doubt that package alone gives you him.

As for Staal, he's still a solid 50-60 player, even though he's a veteran. Just because someone's old doesn't mean they have no value.

Would a restructure deal like Staal and Spergon for a 1st, 2nd, Peca, Lehkonen and a conditional pick if spergon resigns ?

No. Peca and Lehkonen are unnecessary. If there's some position Wild is stacked it's left-handed left wingers. You're offering them just the piece they don't need.

Besides why would MTL even want Spurgeon? He's RHD. Don't they need LHDs more?
