If we land Karlsson, Petry will be traded. Minesota trade is fair, but I dont think they wants Shaw that bad. Lehkonen is way better than Puljujärvi lol

Habs fans don’t get it we need solid 3rd liner, whitch is the case for Lehkonen & Armia. Both are excellent PK guys. Lehkonen wont cost 2.5-3M, no reason to trade him. I agreed, Domi-Shaw are hell of a duo

Dreger already said that Karlsson to Ottawa/Montreal isn't happening it's a false rumor.

We don't have the cap space to be giving our RHD Defense 25 Million Dollars. Our only true position we don't have a hole is RHD, So why put another 11 Million into it?

I like the idea of getting Puljujärvi. It's a low risk high reward type of deal. I would not give up Lehkonen. Puljujärvi wants out of edmonton and has not a lot of value. EDM needs wingers that can play top 6 minutes. We could give Tatar or Shaw for Puljujärvi + something. Shaw just had his best season. His value has never that high. I am not saying we should trade him but he is not untouchable. If and I say IF we land Karlsson we should try to trade Petry. Like Shaw, his value is very high and we really need a LD. I've heard Gosth would be available but the price would be high and I'm not super pumped about that. Brodin would be a cheaper option.

Duchene best season 70 points, Domi at 24 already did 72 points. So Domi is Mtl 1st center. How many center are good defensively like Danault & put up 50+ points ? Bergeron ROR Toews they are all 1C. Danault is a perfect 2C, not a 3C anymore

The ducks won the Stanley cup in 2007 with 6 LHD. When we're talking about the best D in the league who cares what hand he is. Pronger = Weber, Neidermayer = Karlsson. This LD RD thing is nonsense, teams often roll 3 D pairings anyways except for special teams. Which would be no different with Weber Karlsson Petry, they would all play powerplay and penalty kill.
