Whenever I see the "worst contracts" list I always see players that are still playing very well included. That to me isn't fair.
Ryan Suter may have a long contract but he is still playing very good and is a top dman. Players with those back diving contracts will more than likely not finish them out so might as well assume they are a couple years less than they show. Suter isn't going to play for 1M a year at the age of 38-39, especially when he's been raking in millions over the years.
