While I don't dislike this, I wouldn't pull the trigger on the Greene trade. By far the most efficient penalty killer on the roster (along with Coleman). Also, Vatanen is actually a RD, and this team SHOULD be in position for a playoff run, so trading away Greene for a 3rd (which is less than the return Ray received for Lovejoy) is not a trade I would like to see happen.

I would hate losing Coleman, but to get Ellis in return, would be worth it.

I traded Greene just to see the Cap total going into the following season. I see him playing out this yr in full with NJ then retiring.

I like this, although I think it's a little too much money and term for both Mueller and Carrick. Might have to throw in an extra draft pick or make the 2nd rounder a 1st round pick in the hoffman trade. The only thing I don't like here is the Johansson signing. There's better players out there for much less money than that.

Zero chance Nashville does that trade. Ellis would get a much better return - and not even giving up the New Jersey 2nd? Overvaluing two players that have comparables in free agency and wouldn't need to give up Ellis to get. If Ellis is traded, it is for top 6 help.
