he thinks being a Center Prospect makes you an NHL Center .

As MTL's history with Centers from 2001 draft to 2015 has showed us 95%+ either Bust trying to make the jump or convert to Winger full time .

Yes, many! i guess domi failed and kk was a disaster and danault isnt a two way center. i guess they are just prospects in your mind. just like i'm sure you are a star in your own mind too!

Only KK out of the 3 centers you mentioned was actually drafted by Montreal and although he looks like the real deal he only has 1 year under his belt.

Glad to see that McCarron is still included in NHL trades. Sure looks like Montreal has the "hope" at centre as the author suggests, but still might need short term help.

Domi is not a #1C but he would be a fine #2C on most teams in the NHL. You also have to take into account that last year was his first as a full-time C in the NHL and his first under Julien's new system. I think he did pretty well considering. As for KK, you're out of your mind if you think he was anything but outstanding until about March 15 when he just ran out of gas. There's not an NHL scout who questions the Habs move to take him at #3 last year and to play him in the NHL this season. He's barely 18!!!. His trajectory is excellent. The question remains whether he will emerge as a Staal/Getzlaf/Thornton style player, or a more two-way player, like Bergeron, O'Reilly or Koivu. If he goes the latter route, then it gets a little crowded with Danault. One can hope his offensive game grows as he grows from boyhood to being a man.

Danualt is one of the best two-way centres in the game and, you'll see when the voting is revealed, narrowly missed out being a finalist for the Selke this year.

what difference does it make who drafted them. the only thing of importance is we have 2 arguably 4 solid centers and 2 more prospects. you guys have way to much time on your hands to knit pick like this!

VAN decline, they want to improve their defense not make it worse with a pylon.
