This is pretty darn good. Definitely a gamble on the leafs behalf, but Mcleod is only 21, still loads of potential there.

I think the devils would give you a little more, cause Nylander is a perfect fit.

Jesper Bratt and the 2nd would be my target for nylander. Wouldn’t mind going for zacha and bratt.

Get way more for Nylander, and Brown is worth Benning, no need to give away a prospect that is looking really good, also give Kappy less $ at that term, pre bad all around

Nylander has just turned 23 and is legit top-6 forward with 2/3 60+ seasons in NHL. If McLeod is going to Leafs its along that 2nd and late draft pick and for Kadri maybe. You disvalue Nylander and regard fair value on trades that are not even close. Nylanders value is not highest at the moment thats why they wont trade him. But his value is still higher than McLeod (who would be regarded as bust if he is not top-9 C in NHL in two years. Im still believer but tbh not so much as before.) and 2nd round pick.

Actually I tried to do a Brown/Kadri trade but the cap doesn't work...But I do see your point about Kadri and putting Nylander at centre.

Sure I would like to keep Nylander but the cap doesn't allow it. And trading multiple players just to cap compliant and finding multiple replacement just to keep Nylander just doesn't make sense to me.
