Scandella is overpaid 3rd liner and not worth more then a 4th liner at the TDL. Anisimov is worth a 3rd liner in the offseason and a 2nd or 3rd at the TDL. He's put up 20 or more goals 3 out of the 4 years in Chicago and is a big body center that plays the dirty areas. To suggest Scandella is equal value to AA is not right. So Hawks say no and wish you luck.

I agree that AA has more value than Scandella. Scandella would only fetch a 4 at best and that’s being optimistic. The Sabres would be better holding and hopes he. Bounces back next year for more value

AA is a very viable big veteran two way forward who can center a middle six. Scandy is right now a bottom pair D.

AA's NTC expires July 1 with his bonus. He is likely gone but will for sure get more then Scandella. Chicago needs a 1st or 2nd line LHD not a 3rd liner...plenty of those already.

Chicago needs defensive help though and Scandella is capable of having a bounce back year in a better system. As a fan of neither team I think it's fair, but maybe like a 5th round pick could be added going to Chicago to get the deal done. I just did it straight up because it makes the mock look cleaner than adding in a bunch of late picks everywhere.

Chicago doesn't need to take any risks on Scandella. If they get the Scandella from last season then this trade is heavily in favor of Buf. No reason for Chicago to take that risk; you base the trade off of the way the player has been playing not the player that they once were. Every Buf GM team on here has them dumping Scandella for next to nothing like a 4th or 5th round pick...sorry but AA is worth a 3rd rounder easily.
