I didn't realize that one could get a 20-25 goal and 40-50 point, plus 17 with a 16% shooting percentage, ROOKIE all for a 2nd round pick. That hardly seems fair.

Believe he's referring to losing both Kapanen and Johnson and not making any improvements to the defense as the worst case scenario here. Not necessarily the Marner contract.

If Tor wants a3rd for Brown why wouldn't Edm offer 4 by 4 to Johnsson for a 2nd???

They're being offer sheeted though, no? If TO doesn't match and Kap and Jon accept (if they fall within the respective compensation shown above) those are the compensations for doing so.

Well I'm just going off what OP has done, assuming a worst case scenario as he said, there doesn't seem to be space to add Johnsson at even a 2M cap....

Anyways OP's "trades" aren't actually trades, they're just the compensation for offer sheets. he didn't use the new offer sheet module. There seems to be a few people who didn't seem to understand it so i was clarifying.

Because realistically the leafs would match and even if they can’t make it work with the cap they will trade him after matching for more than a 2nd
