Kylington is going to be stuck behind Valimaki on the Left Defense depth chart in CGY, and likely goes unprotected during the Seattle Expansion...so it makes sense to move him for something.

Bennett still only 22 years old, brings a toughness that will help a young OTT lineup for years to come. Could take on an assistant captain role. From Ontario.

Dube or Mangiapane to round out the package. OTT can ask for a lot, given that Brady appears to be on a similar development track to Matthew.

1st for 3rd pick swap to sweeten the deal gives OTT three picks in the 2020 1st round.

I don't think Treliving would pay this price, even to have a monopoly on the Tkachuk brothers. And that's probably good management.

But this trade only really costs one roster player (Bennett) to add a second franchise piece. Could make a great argument that the package on offer is comparable valuable to what came back for Karlsson.
