Groin or hip Injury ruined 2nd half of the 2107/18 season, got a postseason win in 2018 against the lightning, and was coming back from hip surgery this season (18/19) and took a while to get back to form.

It is really only two months and a year but his last win was on Dec 27, 2017 so it just seems longer that it really is.

Well yes its true but a few things:
Early last season, he played well and got hurt, no one knew to what extent and went into witness protection
Kinkaid took the mantle. Schneider came vacj for a short stint but was bad and disappeared again. Kinkaid fell apart in the PO's and Schneider came back, hurt it on a a save and looked like someone cut him in half, flopping around. That was the end, so yes a year but he really didn't play too many games. So true but fuzzy.
