I think the book is still out. But perspectivly he seems the better pick at the moment for sure, no argument there at all. Plus Montréal really needed a center.

I’ll elaborate...your proposal is trash value for wennberg and the jackets would laugh

Because of his outstanding play this season? Last season? Or the 4.9 mil contract?

If you think he’s that bad why do you want him?

ignoring the downright ridiculous Wennberg trade, what makes you think EK will come to Detroit? most other teams will be throwing him similar money and he wants to be on a cup contender not a fringe playoff team at best.

Well for starters I never said I think he’s bad. I think he doesn’t fit where he’s at and it’s killing his play. And I think he can dish the puck to zadina. And that’s what I think will make zadina be able to drive a line. Larkin is a line driver. Wennberg isn’t. Z will need someone to pass the biscuit to drive a line. And Mantha will compliment him well

To be honest I don’t think he will come here. That’s just a prayer.
That being said there aren’t a ton of teams that are in win now that need him or if they do that have the cap for him

I'm a season ticket holder of the Mooseheads and I was always saying he was a one-dimensional player. He could shoot and that's it. Been saying it since day one.

Nice! Believe it or not I’m actually a Carolina Hurricanes season ticket holder lol
You’ve seen your fair share of talent the last good bit up there in Halifax!

Memorial cup this year smile Definitely looking forward to it. I wish I could've watched them lift the cup in 2013. Hopefully I get to see it live this year :P

i disagree with the fact that Wennberg is the perfect center for Zadina. Obviously the perfect center for him would be Necas just look at the chemistry they had at the WJ.

They did look outstanding together to be honest but they never produced. But the guy really needs someone who can find him. I’m excited at the prospect at what he can do with Larkin. But I don’t know that it’s a “perfect” fit. I guess we will see! I’m concerned with the wings practice of over patience we may not even see much of zadina or veleno next season. I hope it’s not the case
