although MTL would love Krug, giving our first rounder doesn't make that much sense. The fact that we (MTL) have a surplus of forward and a bunch of bottom pairing defensemen would mean we would be giving a guy like Hudon in this trade or a guy like Benn (not saying they are worth a 1st hahaha) add to that a second and that makes more sense for MTL even if I think Boston would not take it. Other than that great job! It is definitely something mtl would look into!!

Blues get hosed. Bjork and 1sr for Schenn and a 2nd. Take the second out they probably still decline.

B’s make out like crazy Krug, Bjork, 2nd for Schenn, 1st, 2nd. That would be a a Xmas miracle.

Habs are treated decently. Krug and 2nd for 1st. Is pretty solid deal for them. Even if they are hesitant to part with the 1st.

Blues spoil the party and decline.

The trade totally works if Boston gets Schenn, the Habs get Krug, and St. Louis gets Bjork, a first, Boston’s second, and potentially a Habs 6th.

Absolutely not gonna have to offer something a little more interesting than Bjork for Schenn

Yea that's not enough for Schenn or Krug imo. Krug is a 60-70 point D-man, which is a valuable asset. Golden Knights traded a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for a (at the time) 28 point rental in Tatar and we have to trade a 2nd and a 60 point D-man for a mid round 1st? Same with Schenn. He is a 60-70 point center on 2 years of a decent cap hit. Definitely worth more. I don't know what the Blues really need but the Bruins have plenty of prospects that the Blues could be interested in if they want to go full rebuild with a combination of young D in Lauzon, Urho V or forward prospects like Frederic (St Louis native), Cehlarik, Bjork, Senshyn and a couple higher end picks starting with a 1st of course. If it is going for NHL ready players, it's probably not in the Bruins interest to go after Schenn.

And? It’s an unknown entity. Top 10 picks bust too. Ask Chiarelli his track record there isn’t much better than his trades

If i’m Trading a legit #1 center in his prime I want more than a 1st and mid level prospect. Regardless of where the pick could be. Plus I have to give up a 2nd too? No.
