I literally say "Connor Brown... where offense goes to die....." out loud in a dramatic voice, at least once a game. More pk time should have been given to Marner and Brown should have been let go instead of Leivo in my opinion.

Us Leaf fans have it so good that some of us expect every player to be an elite offensive threat. Lol

Brown is a great penality killer who can chip in with the odd goal while playing very responsible minutes anywhere he's needed. This is a great thing to have.

I'm not saying Brown should've gone instead of Leivo, but I thought Ennis or Marincin should have been placed on waivers instead of Leivo traded

Brown is not in the lineup to provide lethal offense. He is in the lineup to provide PK ability and defense. He is a valuable bottom six defensive forward.

But then you are still left with not spot in the lineup for Leivo.

He's certainly the odd man out when it comes to our young wingers...but he has that blue-collar workmanlike ethic that Babcock loves in him and Hyman. I think if we accept him as a 3rd line checking winger/penalty killer instead of the local boy you potted 20 goals out of nowhere in his rookie season...we can maybe learn to appreciate him more.

haha..but yes...he does seem to have a knack for turning great scoring opportunities into a missed shot on net a couple times a game

unfortunately, he's sucking the absolute life out of nazem kadri. connor brown has the worst shooting stats out of all of our forwards. for naz to be effective, he needs a shooting winger, and brown doesnt deliver. id rather see brown on the 4th but i doubt that will happen.
