MacKinnon is exiting, but him being like the 2nd best center is spreading like the plague. He's great, but not that good.
Point 2 spots ahead of Bergy because..?

Also this Malkin disrespect has to stop. When he has a good night literally nothing stops him.

Giroux as a center doesn't even compete with Getzlaf who isn't on this list. I'd drop Tavares a few spots as well.

I disagree, they are somewhat similar players, Matthews is just quicker and Malkin is stronger and more experienced in how to use his body. Even if you switch them Matthews is still top 5.... Name 5 Centers you would rather have than Matthews.

No doubt in my mind that Bergeron is either the best two way Center or in the top 3 best two way centers, but I honestly wonder if he puts up 60 points if he isn't playing on his line. He plays with Marchand and Pastrnak, Point plays with Gourde and Johnson.

Gourde isn't some random third liner, he's for real. Point has played with Kuch plenty this season, no?
Like he looked good in the playoffs vs Boston, but that performance can't automatically elevate you on top of a ranking like this. I'm not even dying on the Bergeron hill, like Barkov might very well be better at this point.

One star for not putting Kuznetsov on this list.

And for over hyping Matthews like everyone on this site. Matthews is a ppg players who is injury prone.

If loving MacKinnon is like spreading the plague, then y'all better get ready to vomit blood cause this Oriental Rat Flea is coming to spread the good news. Sure, he took a few years to become elite, but like disease-carrying Mongolian invaders, Nathan has arrived. Nathan Mackinnon may not have been the leading cause of death from 1347-1351, but he is leading the NHL in primary points-per-game from 2017-present. It's like that old children's rhyme says:

"Skates rings around defenders,
picks pockets, and intends to
pass it, shoot it,
Goalies fall down!"

I sure am glad that the planets aligned to unleash the scourge of Nathan Mackinnon unto the NHL, cause I go miasmic whenever I see that boy dangle. There must really be something in the air in Cole Harbour.

Has a 42% career face off percentage, can't carry players on his back.....and McJesus is the best center in the league? You must be kidding. Enough hype. He we were paired with players like Conner Sheary and Simon for the last 3 years you would be saying what happened to McDavid. Instead the penguins trade them out for possible 3rd round picks after Crosby carried them on his back.

Well props for taking this all lightly!

I think he's very good, I just think you could be a bit cautious before putting someone in the #2 spot. #4 I'm fine with though, and he could be #2 before the season is over if he keeps outperforming his competitors.

I think it's more of a case of methodology rather than huge differences in judgement of ability

In all honestly, I don't know that I'd rank Mackinnon above Crosby either. I just saw that you likened Mackinnon at #2 to the Black Death, and I thought I'd have some fun.
