Description

What would it take to pry Vladimir Tarasenko off the struggling St. Louis Blues. Elliotte Friedman recently on NHL Network: “Now one of the guys I do wonder about there is Tarasenko. There have been rumors before that the Blues have not always been happy with him since he signed the big contract. I’ve never had anyone say that to me on the record. I’ve never had anybody give me a trade rumor that’s got his name in it. But it’s kind of been out there, guys.

“And if the Blues really want to make change, that’s a change they could make – although it’s very hard to win that trade because we all know how talented he is.”

It’s gotta be quality over quantity if you’re trading Tarasenko. Krug has no value to the Blues and Heinen just isn’t that good. They definitely would want Debrusk and ten they’d have to add quite a bit.

Because he’s a specialist and Dunn already does a good job of quarterbacking the power play. They also have the next Krug in Scott Perunovich who’s ripping up college hockey for UMD.

because after a few years of midget shattenkirk coughing the puck up and getting pushed around the blues know better?

I would start with Rask possibly. Add in the picks, and some prospects. That might at least make them think about it.

well I can see Tank isn't needed so then ya don't need Tank. So this was a dumb idea right? Exactly. Blues would want McAvoy and/or Pasta, you guys aren't willing to do that so again just like Toronto not a very good trade partner.

Personally I don’t think tarasenko is worth krug bjork a prospect and a first. Boston doesn’t need him also. He would play on their second line so they don’t really need him unless pastaenak gets a career ending injury

He is not better than the top 2 they have already, so why would they want a defenseman who is #3 or 4 on the team for a #1 forward. This trade has no merit for St.Louis as they have trouble scoring, so lets trade our #1 scorer.

Personally, if I'm Boston I wouldn't trade Pasta for Tarasenko straight up. Pasta has more value based on age, contract, and stats last 2 seasons.

It's most likely a late first. However, I wouldnt want to get rid of both those guys either. Maybe D eBrusk and Frederic with a 2020 first.
