Thats not a bad haul if the Blues are going all in on a rebuild, but they are giving the best 2 players in the deal. Oilers take that deal 11 times out of 10. Can't imagine St.Louis doing it. This addresses 2 of the Oilers biggest needs. Curious to see what St. Louis fans like. I'd imagine they need Drai in the deal, which if we are getting Tarasenko and Pietrangelo, I'd honestly be fine with it.

Blues aren't rebuilding. also Bouchard...needs to be in the deal if you ever wanna get close, and Blues aren't rebuilding we have expectation this year would be rough trying to get chemistry going.

I don't see enough value there for STL to do it. If they rebuild, they could get more by moving those players individually. Tarasenko for Nuge, JP, 1st? Sure. But Petro for Benning, Lucic, Jones, 2nd? Nah.

I read he is back skating again. I know its not the same injury but Bryan Berard came back and his vision was 20/600. I do hope that I'm wrong and he makes it back the NHL.
