Duchene wont go back lol. Plus Ottawa doesn't deal White. So it would be a Stone for 1st back. If not, then there isn't a deal to be made for both teams

Avs wouldnt want Duchene back either, he caused a huge rift int he locker room with MacKinnon. He burned a lot of bridges leaving the Avs and dont think he will ever be back with the Avs

Why would the Avs do this? They are sitting on 30 million in cap room in the 2019 offseason with only Rants and Zadarov as the only RFAs that will cost over 4 million a year. The other RFAs will be under 3 million.

They Avs wont trade valuable assets for UFAs. Stone cant even sign an extension till Jan 2019. I also expect the Avs to take a step back from last year and miss the playoffs. We are not at the spot right now to trade picks that are on ELCs for Free agents to be. Maybe after this next season. But we are fine continuing to build through the draft.

A 2nd round pick and Compher, a guy who is part of the Avs future...how is that embarrassing myself when I wouldn't trade Compher for Byron, never mind the 2nd round pick on top of that . Avs are not trading young assets for 29-30 year old pending UFAs.

No way I'd trade Compher for Byron, let alone Compher AND a 2nd! Byron might be worth a 2nd to somebody but not to the Avs and especially not with a good young player as well.

Tatar is signed long term and some of is "worst seasons" are still better than Byrons carrer high season, yet it was still a bad trade by Vegas. Nash is a bad deadline deal as a rental that you always see for marquee players. Byron is a pending UFA and a 35-40 point tweener 2nd/3rd line player. Hes chris tierney.

Patrick Maroon was traded for a low level prospect and a 3rd and has simliar Byron stats, Thomas Vanek was traded for a mid prospect and a cap dump and had better stats as a pending UFA being traded than Byron. There are just as more these value trades for similar production, age, and pending UFAs for Byron.

I put compher in the trade as a low potential prospect, he can be switched out for anyone. I traded for Byron because the Ave's seemed to have a hole in the LW position and Byron is a good fast winger making nothing compared to other available options. I didn't know Colorado fans were so angry and sensitive.
