A RHD on an expiring contract whose play has been declining and 2 second round draft picks for one of the best dmen in the game. From a prospect dmen side of things, it'll atleast require Foote. They'll likely be requesting Sergachev as well. I'm also 100% sure they could get a better offer then that from another team

You might be right, but I would hope this is the strongest offer Yzerman would make. Because unless money gets moved this is strictly a rental.

Problem is the money they would have to move is point. (or kucherov lol) After what you would need to give up for karlsson and then need to shed to sign him it’s just not happening. I think sens would also be intent on getting a 2019 1st and Tampa doesn’t have one to give up.
