You did it!!! I’d feel better if JT took 10m lol. I don’t see a major issue with the values unless someone has a monster year. But do you like the team? LD is sketchy. Guess they have to start sometime though. Last two players to move to create space later are Rask and Krug. A bunch due again the following year- Debrusk, Bjork, Grizz, Senyshyn, Zboril, McIntyre......it never ends.

I think the offense has potential, but the defense scares me. There would be a lot of pressure on some young guys on the left side of the defense and the right side is pretty young itself.

Agreed. Making it worse is there is no ability to fix that through free agency for years so it would have to do.

I don't know that you'd need to do it via UFA though to help out the defense. You could move out one of your younger forwards for a more experienced d-man and then fill that forward spot with either another young guy or a UFA. Honestly though at $12 million I wouldn't want JT. Great player, but that's a lot of money for one guy for Boston.
