Why would Detroit, Minnesota, St. Louis, and especially Vegas do these trades?

Well since you haven't already figured it out, I'll try and explain in the simplest way possible so you can hopefully understand. STL lost Stasny and Lehtera and Backes, that's 3 less centres than what they used to have so they need a new one. DET has a brutal looking roster, especially their defence so hunwick can easily make a roster that looks like that unlike a playoff team like this one here. MIN has Soucy and Oloffson coming in so they'd be looking to get rid of some of their defence. Vegas would do this because they don't need Subban since they have Fleury and they have Dansk as far as good young goalies and Reinhart is a bust and then there's two late picks, and they get a speedy two-way but most importantly..NHL calibre player here.

Sheary is worth a 3rd alone at most also spurgeon and brodin are both top 4 d for 1 in dumoulin

Backes was no longer playing center and had moved to RW. Thomas is gonna get a shot at third line center so there is a less than 0% chance Armstrong moves one of the top 15 prospects in hockey for a 3rd liner. If Kyrou gets moved which seems less likely now than during the season then the return will include a top 6 forward. If you wanted him in a deal for Kessel that would be fine but not for Brassard. We have 8-9 people already capable of filling out our bottom 6

Brassard isnt a bottom 6 player, hes an established top 6 player.

St.Louis and Minnesota definately don't do these trades. Dumoulin is overrated. I definately think Guetzel deserves top 6 minutes. No need to sign Bozak.

Depth and they'd be making up for lost depth.

What makes Dumoulin overrated?

We have Steen Berglund Thompson Sobotka and Thomas who can all play center. What we need is a 1C. We’ve got all the other spots covered down the middle
