If this was a secondary move in order to free up cap space for the leafs to make a bigger trade or UFA signing, im cool with the deal. Otherwise I’d rather keep Gardiner

I'd do the Oiler as a Leaf to move up 15 spots in the first round. Is Thornton really that NHL good now after another knee injury. Can't see Carlson come to the Leafs for the same money he's going to make elsewhere closer to his home(s)
