Here's a tweak for ya... Trades with Caps, Oils, Flyers

Description
Reality is the Wild will not rebuild like they (obviously) need to, so here is a tweak or two to placate the idiot owner, Craig Leipold. This just might work...
3 even lines. Granlund and Parise get the protection they have needed forever. Kunin and Greenway ideally start the season in the AHL, so you can plug in some 4th liners in their place, but I just wanted to see the ultimate roster...probably the roster for the post season.

That trade doesn't help Edmonton at all. We have enough defenceman. Also nurse isn't going any where

Philadelphia won't trade Carter Hart for another top-six forward.

I disagree! Zucker gives McDavid a winger that can actually keep up with him. Brodin is a better defender and puck-mover than Nurse and that is what the Oilers need. Spurgeon for RNH makes a ton of sense for the Oilers too. You make a monster upgrade to your (currently) horrible blue line.

You're probably right. I was looking for someone for the Flyers to add to the trade and Hart makes sense for the Wild...but probably not for the Flyers. Give me a counter-offer.

Caps would not make that trade. They already have center depth and Wilson is going to be a core piece there for many years.

Rudas and Gubstov is probably as far as I would go.

I've made trade scenarios involving Rubstov in the past...but have recently read his development isn't progressing as hoped. What says you?

Coyle is a wing...who can also play center. What would the Wild need to add to make a Coyle for Wilson swap?

Maybe a late round draft pick but I think it is fair value. However, Wilson is a fan favorite and a great locker room presence and I don't think the Caps would be willing to trade him away.

For those very reasons, he is exactly the type of player I want on the Wild...and probably the reasons why this trade will never happen. I can hope though...

Some trades are bad-valued, but most just dont make sense for teams.
    1. Wilson was a key piece to giving Wsh the 2-1 series lead to be able to feel like they have a step up on Pit (and he got under their skin, which was vital). Coyle won’t be able to bring that element to Wilson’s extent to the point where he can get under skin.
    2. The Flyers trade makes no sense for either side. The Wild have Dubnyk as their starter, and he’s not exactly and old man (even in hockey terms). Hart wouldn’t make the Wild til Dubnyk slows down, and that’s just wasting valuable years of Hart being backup or tandem to Dubnyk. The Wild also need Staal because he’s been a terrific 1C for them, and u just want to trade him away? And u want Minny to take on the player that hurts his own teammates?
    3. The Coyotes are in more need of a RHD than a LHD. I doubt OEL moves, and with him, Chychrun, Hjalmarsson, Goligoski, and Connauton already on the Yotes, they don’t need Olofsson.
    4. I understand ur reasoning on the Oilers trade, but Pulj is too young to be traded away. Chiarelli’s prob going to b an idiot and do it anyway, but it’s stupid to do it. RNH isn’t a 1C IMO. I think he’s a great 2C at best (maybe 1C on a bad team?). The Oils also have no reason to trade Nurse, even if they are gettin Brodin in return. Nurse is one of the few 1sts that Chiarelli’s actually kept and seen value in, and that says something. The Oilers need a top 2 D-man, not a top 4 (they already have enough of those).

LoL Nuge isn't a good winger for mcdavid? Haha.. Best ppg mcdavids put up has been with Nuge. Nuge isn't that good of a centre. Loses a lot of faceoffs. But he's good on the wing. So what is the point of moving him. If an injury happens then we have someone who can step in. Meh, our d was pretty much injured all year. larson had to deal with his dad going through a bad time and his eventual death. Klefbom had a shoulder injury all season. Sekera came back middle of the season with an ACL injury while everyone was hitting mid season form. Not every year is going to be the same!.. 2 years ago we were blessed with good health. This year.. Was what could go wrong went wrong. No need to make knee jerk reactions.

Dumba for two years doesn't make any sense unless you're assuming arbitration. Either trade him now or get something long term done.

I'd love getting Pulju, id give coyle or zucker in a package for him but him and nuge together aint happening.
