I dont know if they trade ovi but not for that package. Florida wont move trocheck for 1 year of patches. I think montreal fans are going to be supremely disappointed in what they actually get for patches.

Once those 2018-19 contracts get added (+$4m to carey off the bat)...you're out of cap space.

I doubt any of those trades are close...maybe swapping Chucky and Patches in their respective deals makes more sense...but I don't think anyone will drop a 2nd for shaw or a 3rd for Alzner. And Buffalo is not going to trade right out of the #1 overall pick and into the 2nd round for 3 seconds and 3 players who have transitioned from 'promising prospect' to 'just another guy'.

I think Montreal will in general be disappointed when the team doesn’t actually improve this offseason

When there's known locker room issues...makes it tough for top end free agents to want to sign there. Going to have to do it through the draft. Trade the vets for picks/prospects...keep Gally as he seems to be a high work-ethic and good role model type of guy for younger players...and start the re-build....although Price and Weber locked in long term probably sends Bergevin looking to add instead.

It's crazy right? habs fan over value so much guys on this team...
I think what we can get for Pacc at this point is pretty similar to what Nash got the Rangers.
I see Max getting traded at the draft for a first rounder and possibly an active young player with not too much value (like spooner). My suggestion would be Max to Dallas for their first (13th overall) and Janmark.

No. Of course not. never. But... I'm sorry... Did you say Galchenyuk, Lehkonen, and two first round picks? Including the pretty good one in 2018, from before you get Ovechkin? And a 2nd?

It doesn't matter because they're not losing to Tortorella.

The premise of your post is insulting and obnoxious and... man, that better not happen. Piss off for even suggesting it. Still hate that guy from his ridiculous upsets over Washington with Tampa, and with New York... No. Go away. Come back when you're not out to hurt our feelings.

If Ovi ever gets traded, I'll make sure to come check to see if your feelings are hurt

Thanks. It's just good to know someone cares. Even if you kind of missed the point of my post.

I thought Galchenyuk and 2 firsts was fair value last summer. Adding Lehkonen for Ovechkin winning another Richard this summer sounds fine, especially with one of them in the top ten. But there's never any need to suggest John Tortorella winning a playoff series. That's completely inappropriate.
