Description
NYI is lacking defense and with ho sang not getting any time out there could use a fresh start I believe he'd mesh well with RNH and could bring the oilers some offence the draft picks are fair for klefbom length of contract and the steal that it is sad to see him go but I think it's a fair trade

Leivo is getting no ice time at all out there an Babcock only trust like 4 people he really loves polak I don't know why but the oilers trade cammo for him with a fair swap I've seen this on here earlier didn't mind it

STL trade maroon goes back to his home town to play in the playoffs bring you a big body player who not scared to get rough around the boards protect your player an can add some scoring

VGK the trade is interesting as I believe it wasn't the right signing for the oilers the guy is still half decent but we don't need him in our system and Vegas still needs to build a team around prospect pool talent oilers sacrifice two draft picks an Vegas trade a LTIR eligable player so oilers get some cap room

Pittsburgh trade is done by 2017 tdl oilers take on hags contract for the second an get a speedy winger for mcdavid Pittsburgh gets cap relief to sign May be kane or more room for hornqvist and the get a good right hand centre who wins faceoffs and would be perfect for there third line

ARZ trade I like strome he brings good intensity but we have no need for him now if we can keep nuge that would be perfect and strome and play with his brother Arizona gives up a high second win win for everyone

Agree with this statement, I’m friends a lot of Isles fans, I see Leddy playing the exact same role as Klefbom on the left side, the thing I don’t agree with is how is Nurse is arguably worth more than Klefbom at this point to the Oilers, so..

He's worth more to the islanders then Klefbom is. They need his skill set more than they need Klefbom's

Kelfbom is worse that Hamomic. Why would his trade value be higher?

    This is objectively false.

2018 third for just letestu then ?

I can see the Oilers push for a bit more for the inexpensive and multi-purposed Letestu, possibly a conditional 4th.

I can see the Oilers have some interest in Sprong, maybe not for Letestu but if that’s the case, I’d be interested, it fits a need (right handed, shooting winger).

Slepy could get a late 3rd I’m sure, he’s very young, and proven he could be somewhat of a force in the playoffs and the top 9, he just hasn’t fit in the Oilers lineup anywhere so it’s almost like he’s zeroed in on.

For the Arizona deal, I’m tryna see how available Domi is, Strome + a bit Maybe?? think we can all agree by seeing brief glimpses of the 2015 World Juniors that he and McDavid could be a force to be wrecken with.

    STL doesn’t have a 2nd

Love a possible Leivo aquisition, he’s a wicked forchecker with speed, a shot, some hands, strong on the puck. Can help the PK/PP if given the ice time, possibly the next Maroon if put on McDavid’s side. But the trade itself doesn’t work because they don’t need someone like Camm, maybe Benning?

lol delete your account man come on... Hamonic is a dumpster fire and always has been. He's bad. CGY got robbed in that deal. Also, there aren't many defensive dmen left in the league because they are a dying breed and can't play anymore so that argument is moot. Dmen in today's NHL need to be able to move the puck out of the dzone along with skating it out if they want to be successful. Can't have a backend of dmen that just chip it high off the glass and out anymore - you'll get destroyed.

I've noticed harmonic hasn't played all that well lately and Calgary did overpay it's looking like it right now but he can turn it around and I agree with your statement

Your love affair for him isnt great man. Hagelin has a horrible contract. Its better slotting a guy like grabner there and taking that deal

It’s not a horrible contract, just a bad one. He has found something with Malkin and horny. I agree that if we got Grabner that I’d do this deal all day, but that’s the thing, we’d need Grabner first
