Interesting concept. Just based on "body counts" I would think STL has to include another player, or a pick is included instead of Heinen. Probably something that will be very slow-developing - the western conference standings are so fluid these days.

Personally, I'd rather have Schenn than add 3 guys that are 23, 23, and 25 to the mix. Inconsistency and a lack of chemistry (and goaltending) have been our downfall this year; I'm not convinced our NHL lineup needs a ton of changes. They're actually putting it all together over the last month or so - finally putting up consistent efforts and starting to gel. I think if we come up short of the bubble at the TDL, a Schenn trade should be more of a 'sell' move (for picks/young prospects).

The one question I have....Can you extend Schenn?? or do you have to wait until July...
