Well you just can't "LTIR" Ladd. Better hope he is truly LTIR, so the Isles have that cap space. Maybe not having Staal so you can afford both Duchene and next year Barzal

What I'm really worried about is in two years, when we need the cap space to sign Barzal, Toews , and Pulock - who at that time will likely be our top two D. Lou needs to start clearing cap and clearing it fast

hahaha yeah, I tend to prepare for the worst case scenario. Either way, Ladd needs to go somehow. In 2 years, we're gonna need about 20M or so to sign Barzal, Toews, and Pulock if they keep progressing like they have been. Replacing Leddy with Aho is probably the easiest way to do that - I hear the org is very high on him
