I am confused.

Also, can people stop adding Brown into deals. You never trade players like Brown. He can play up and down the line up, kill penalties and can be a JVR replacement on the PP. He also is willing to take a pay cut understanding he is a support piece in order to help the team. Finally, he is a home town kid and bleeds blue and white. If there was a player that deserves to play his whole career as a leaf, its Brown.

Oh and if he can even sneeze at his Junior form he will be a top 6 fixture for his whole career.

So, the Leaf get Shultz and meh Spooner and give up. Zaisev, Brown, NHL depth, picks and two goalies. DJ, this is really bad for the Leafs. At least you're cap compliant.

No I just started throwing out ideas. I meant to delete it not publish but I rushed and just ended up leaving it.

I love Brown too but salary cap prevents him from staying. We have too many better wingers to keep him around. Just on RW alone I have 4 guys on the depth chart ahead of him.
